Scenes from a Commute – Smoke at Kendall Square Station
MY SUBWAY trip from Kendall Square to Porter Square suffered from a slight delay to a fire department issue at Kendall Square. Fire fighters worked the other end of the platform, but a train showed up and slowly made it out of the station, despite the smoke in the air. Hopefully the smoke was harmless. Well, mostly harmless.
