Kicking and Screaming is the Worst Movie I have seen all year
Will Farrel not withstanding, Kicking and Screaming was just plan not very entertaining for me. I am not going to say any more in a hopes I can recover the space used to house memories of this movie.
Anchovies, please…
I went to the Harvest Vine with some people from work this week. It’s a great little tapas place in Seattle. Good wine, good food, including Petite Basque, one of my favorite cheeses.
They also had anchovie filets in vinegar. As a salty food lover, they were great. The gravy from the […]
Surviving the Pumpkin Push in Seward Park
I ran another 5k race this weekend. The event is called the Pumpkin Push and takes place in Seward Park in Seattle, WA. The crowd was much more cosmopolitan group than the people at the race in Woodinville. As it is the Halloween season, there were also a lot of people in […]
Dreams of Houses and other things

Mad Dogs & Englishmen - a very good wine at a good price

Yankees Lose, Yankees Lose

Images of Intestines Dancing in My Head…
For those with an interest in gory gourment, Slashfood has a post about “corpse cakes”.
An image of a more anatomically correct cake can be found here.
Surviving the Woodinville Country Slough Run
I ran my first official race today, the Woodvinville Country Slough Run. I ran with a bunch of people at work, including the esteemable Mr. Chor, who has some other pictures and info on the race. For me, it was a 5k race (roughly 3 miles). Some people ran a full 10k […]
Favorite Quote of the Week
I was walking through the Cross-Roads Mall this week and I overheard to young men talking. One paced around a bit with a bottle cloacked in a brown paper bag. They seem to be discussing beers. The last line I heard as I walked away was “St. Pauli Girl smells like chronic, […]
