It looks like we had some local pot growers in the neighborhood.
I was reading the Rutland Herald online this morning (it is the local major newspaper), and one of today’s headlines jumped out at me - “Pot, guns, stolen property seized in raid in Ludlow”.
We probably walked by the place where they lived […]

Ok, so the Pogues reference was a bit of lame duck, being so cliche, but I couldn’t resist. Every time I went to post the photo my brain was trying to figure out how the Pogues song sounded.
So to continue the trend I figured I would use the name of an R.E.M. album for […]

NME.com linked to a story on http://www.thecure.com about the departure of two members of the Cure.
The simple statement says - “Perry Bamonte and Roger O’Donnell are no longer in the band.”
No details on who they will be replaced by, but the post mentions more details soon.

And now every April I sit on my porch
And I watch the parade pass before me

I can’t remember how long ago it was that I first tried to read Neal Stephenson’s Cryptonomicon. I tried several times, never getting very far each time, and as usual moving on to another book that was more interesting to me.
Now that I have read Cryptonomicon I understand the attraction of this […]

It is weird to think that I will finish Neal Stephenson’s Cryptonomicon before I finish Moby Dick (my reading is still stalled out on that one).
I have about a hundred pages left to read. Although an interesting and at times humorous exciting read, Cryptonomicon is a bit of a slog. […]

This is what you can get for about $40 at Fenway Park:
2 Hot Dogs with Mustard
1 Coca Cola
4 Pretzels with extra salt
2 Tubs of Cheese for the Pretzels
2 Beers
Glad to see the food and drink prices are similiar to those at Safeco Field in Seattle.
